Visit us on the Web at www.SanctuaryOne.org These four geese were displaced during a flood near Salem, Oregon in February, 2012. They were injured and emaciated. One had a broken bill, so was taken to Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center for medical care. The other three remained in a residential area where dogs chased them and they wandered in and out of traffic. Thankfully, with the help of the wildlife center, some concerned volunteers from the Salem Friends of Felines were able to catch them and bring them to us so they could join our flock of rescued ducks and geese.
